Twigg Stitch - the shape of things to come... (10)
Twigg Stitch is a basic technique that can be adapted to many different traditional forms of knitting. It's two-sided, so instead of carried threads and a 'wrong' side, you produce beautiful results on front and back of your work! -
Hat and Mittens, Patterns on Ravelry (4)
In early June I posted a pattern for fingerless buttoned mittens (free!) on Ravelry. These have been very popular (hundreds of downloads!) so here are pics of them plus the hat I have just designed and posted to go with them. -
Mothwing Scarf (4)
The pattern for this is now available on www.Ravelry.com.This is a great lightweight scarf and it's quite easy to knit! And you can make it from just one skein of sock weight yarn (takes about 170 yds).

Music Sweaters (4)
Many of you will remember Geoff wearing these. The first sweater was knitted in the mid '80s, using intarsia for all the notes and symbols. So many yarn ends to sew in!! It is a 'tone row' piece that Geoff wrote for an assignment in College (the back shows the retrograde for those muso's among you!). It finally got too worn... ...and I made the replacement around 2005 using a song he wrote, this time just knitting in the straight music lines and embroidering the rest on using swiss darning, which just looks like it was knitted. : )
